1. Normalize the trip
Destination, dates, trip type, baggage and daily activities become a consistent trip model. Dress code, venue and walking inputs are explicit choices rather than natural-language guesses.
2. Derive constraints
Each activity receives a formality level, comfort requirement, weather exposure and shoe-surface rule. Your temperature, coverage and heel preferences adjust those constraints.
3. Build complete looks
The engine starts with full outfit formulas for transit, business, walking, smart casual, formal events, beach and general casual time. It then applies the actual weather band and precipitation risk.
4. Reduce across the whole trip
The tool counts every use and preserves items that solve more looks. It removes low-value duplication until the selected baggage capacity is respected, while formal requirements and safety-related weather pieces stay protected.
5. Explain and let you edit
Every look includes a reason. You can lock a piece, swap it, remove it, reduce shoes, add polish or make the capsule more weatherproof. Undo is available during the session.
Weather confidence
Google Weather can provide a live forecast when configured and when the full trip is within forecast range. Far-future trips receive clearly labeled seasonal guidance. The planner remains usable if the provider is unavailable.
Privacy by default
There is no account or trip database in version one. The plan is saved in your browser and can be printed or exported as JSON. Exact dates and activities are not sent to analytics by this implementation.
